Ok, I went to Roller Motion Skating rink in Birmingham, Al this past Sunday with my daughter and son and its HARD to skate to the FAST BEAT HANNA MONTANA songs.....ugh!!!! They did, however play Burn Rubber on me...and I went out there and jammed and might I add that I only lasted about 2 minutes and my shins started hurting. I thought I was in shape but I guess I didn't realize how GOOD we really use to be???
So I'm taking a vote now.......DO YOU THINK WE NEED AN AMBULANCE ON STAND BY FOR US JUST IN CASE WE GET HURT because we THINK WE ARE 17 AGAIN????? LOL
Some exciting news, Jimmy Golden and Gus Swensen will be bringing their "Original" floor guard uniforms that we will display. That's gonna be a blast from the past isn't it??
The Skate Center Public Service announcements will start this week or this weekend. Please remember to tell everyone that you know. If you are on my space or face book, please send a message out about the reunion. Thanks KIM BENNETT for sharing the reunion information on your my space..we now have 2 more ppl that are signed up because you shared the info with your my space friends. Taffy Have you heard back about anyone knowing where Tammy Kingery? or Shannon Thomason? Someone said to remeber to invite Eddie Beach ( you know hes a preacher now?)

I work with Eddie Beach's aunt and gave her the information about the reunion. I will check with her and see if she has had a chance to send it on to him yet.
We probably will need the ambulance there. I went skating Sat. afternoon and.....how exactly did we use to do this? I was as wobbly as a 2 year old AND you can no longer use the wall to help you stay up all the way around. LOL!! If anyone else wants to go see if you can still stay upright on skates, Sat. afternoon looks like a good time to go. The entire time I was there there were only 8 other people there. And that was in 2 separate groups at a time. I think I am going to try and go again next Saturday.
